Movie makers, computer games producers, and even TV manufacturers have always been seeking the Holy Grail in increasing the number of dimensions for their products. Currently, most fast-paced action movies utilize sight, sound, and motion, which is the basic ingredients in enhancing the realism of their product – but clearly, it still lacks sometime rather integral, don’t you think so?
Surely, if you are searching for something that delivers the ‘fourth dimension’ to video and gaming, then I’m confident that you’ll definitely be mesmerized with the olfactory called the Smellit. As the name implies, Smellit delivers smell to the user, and this particular olfactory comes in a miniature version, whereby the miniature scent generator can enhance the realism of the media, simply by producing appropriate scents to the user. Designed by Nuno Teixeira, this particular gadgetry will be showcased at the Lisbon Design Show, sometime next week. Here’s a glimpse of the gadget:
