If you have participated in some form of 3D games which require you to wear a headgear that consists of miniature displays, you should know that these miniature displays are mostly solid display units that one cannot see through. Surely, Lumus sets to revolutionize such video headgears, with their introduction of the 720p video glasses.
Basically, the video glasses utilize a see-through virtual screen, and when worn, the viewer will be able to view a gigantic 87-inch virtual screen that is virtually 10-feet away. The lens-projected view screens are surreal, and can be considered as somewhat superior when compared to conventional miniature displays. Also, onlookers will not be able to see what the viewer is looking at, but rather, they will only see a pair of off spectacles. Well the Lumus video glasses can only run 720p videos at the moment, and it will be featured at CES next month.
