Long-form Video on Portable Devices

Netflix has achieved unprecedented success over their latest movie solution, whereby prospective consumers can easily view their favorite movies through the movie streaming service. Nevertheless, Netflix’s CEO has recently disclosed that the current consumer market isn’t interested in streaming long videos to their portable devices, such as an iPhone or iPad. On the other hand, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings also mentioned that the Netflix integration into the Xbox 360, Mac, and PS3, has enjoyed tremendous growth in its subscriber base. Surely, I believe that Netflix’s success would be unrivaled for the years to come, but I’m also guessing that their days might be numbered, once Google flexes their muscles over the movie streaming business, in the near future perhaps?
