We’ve heard a significant amount of news depicting the wonders of the OLED display technology, whereby OLEDs can outshine conventional LEDs, and it also has extended durability too, whereby one can bend the OLED panels without damaging or breaking it apart. Sure enough, when LG announced their plans to build OLED TVs sometime ago, I’m pretty sure the end results would be spectacular, as clearly, the underlying technology that would be used in these panels would push the limits of televisions to a new height.
And just recently, LG has showcased the world’s first 55-inch OLED TV panel that looks supremely elegant. Running on LG’s 4-color Pixel and Color Refiner technology, the OLED TV can deliver accurate and consistent colors that beat other OLED TVs in the market. Also, the 55-inch OLED TV measures a mere 4mm thick, and it also weights in at a mere 7.5KG. How I wish that I can be a proud owner of one of these spectacular OLED TVs, look below:
