In fact, Microsoft has taken the initiative to put their browser to test against other mainstream browsers, namely the Chrome 10, Firefox 4, Opera 11, and also Safari 5. The research suggests that computers that operate with Internet Explorer 9 consumes the least wattage, thus extending the battery life for the mobile computer considerably.
