Erik Cassano

Writer
210west.com [send email]

Erik Cassano is an award-winning writer from Cleveland, Ohio. His works have appeared in The Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine and Crain's Cleveland Business, among others.

Erik is a sports buff and die-hard, long-suffering fan of all things Cleveland. He forgives John Elway and Michael Jordan now that they've retired (again), and has lost almost all animosity toward Art Modell now that the Browns are back and the Ravens won the Super Bowl, rendering all arguments over Art's bolt to Baltimore virtually pointless.

He might someday bury the hatchet with the store-bought, fly-by-night, one-and-done, forever-an-expansion-team 1997 Florida Marlins that the Indians had no business losing to in the World Series. Maybe.

Currently, Erik is the city and central county reporter for the Medina County Gazette in Medina, Ohio and a sometimes-freelancer.

He is a 2003 graduate of Bowling Green State University.
