Micro-processor manufacturers are buzzing out loud on the miraculous wonders of the graphene-based transistors, whereby this particular material is touted to be tougher, and can be outfitted with tremendous amount of transistors, which can be translated into higher clock speeds for micro-processors. However, since graphene is still relatively new, producing graphene-based microprocessors is still expensive, as preliminary fabrication methods are costly and time consuming – up until now.
Apparently, researchers at the Northern Illinois University have discovered a method that can be used to make graphene at a much cheaper, greener, and faster rate. Basically, the researchers used dry ice in their manufacturing process, whereby burning magnesium in frozen carbon dioxide produces a thin layer of the carbon nanostructure, ie graphene. The method can be used to produce graphene at a larger scale, and it is also relatively cheaper, faster, and more environmentally friendly, when compared to conventional methods that use boatloads of chemicals.

Raytheon is a defense company that recently produced the pain ray – and apparently, the company was seen developing another revolutionary weapon, called the directed energy warheads. Surely, we all know that modern weapons of war are now more dependant on electronics, and Raytheon recognizes such facts too. And by disabling the onboard electronics on these weapons, such circumstances render the weapon useless.
Nevertheless, Raytheon has been rather decretive in acquiring Ktech, in which the firm specializes in airborne electronic warfare. And by merging both of these companies together, Raytheon now has the capability to develop some kind of directed energy warhead, which is speculated to use radio and microwaves to electronically neutralize targets, rather then blowing the targets up in smithereens. Well, I’m guessing that we’ll be seeing more drones that are able to fry electronics, flying around the battlefield in the future.

Let’s face it – most 3D projectors out there are darn expensive, as clearly, the underlying technology is rather unique, and since 3D projectors are still rather new, manufacturers always charge a premium price of these hardwares. Nevertheless, Sony plans to change the scenario, whereby the company has recently announced that they will be unveiling a mid-range 3D projector, dubbed as the VPL-HW30ES 3D Projector.
Basically, the VPL-HW30ES 3D Projector will be priced within the region of 370,000 yen ($4,626 US), and it will be shipping to the Europe and Japan market sometime next month. The projector comes with 70,000:1 contrast ratio, and has 1,300 lumens too. The projector also comes with an upgraded 3D system, which promises to reduce crosstalk when it is in operation. On the other hand, 3D compatibility is achieved through Sony’s new and lighter active shutter 3D glasses.

I love collecting watches, and I do have several branded watches in my wrist watch collection, such as Tag Heuer, Omega, Breitling, Patek Philippe, and etc. And recently, I find it to be rather financially restrictive to start a huge branded wrist watch collection, as starting such collection is extremely expensive. Well everything changed when I found out about www.buy-replica.com, whereby the respective website sells a huge collection of high quality replica watches that look exactly like the real one. Basically, you can find a huge web catalog of replica watches, such as Omega replica, Breitling, Graham, Jacob, Blancpain, Mercedes-Benz, Patek Philippe, U-Boat, Tag Heuer, Welder, Zenith, Rado, Raymond Weil, Rolex, Porsche Design, and many more. Apparently, www.buy-replica.com sells several of my favorite Tag replica watches too, such as the Aquaracer, Carrera, and Link. Basically, what I like about the website is the fact that it’s extremely easy to buy replica watches via their web store. All I need to do is to locate the wrist watch that I want to purchase on their web catalog, and place it into the online shopping cart. And once I’m done shopping, I can easily check out with my order, and my purchase will be delivered to my shipping address! For instance, just the other day I bought a beautiful Cartier replica watch for my wife through www.buy-replica.com. I can testify that the quality is guaranteed, as the watch is free from defects, and it also has all the intrinsic design found on the genuine Cartier watch. Well, I have included a snapshot of the respective Cartier wrist watch below, just to give you a very good overview of the watch – I’m sure you’ll agree with me that it’s a very beautiful piece indeed. Thus, if you too are looking for high quality yet inexpensive replica watches, make sure you try shopping for some via www.buy-replica.com.

If you can’t beat mainstream smartphones in terms of performance or popularity, then perhaps you can always beat your competition for introducing the slimmest smartphones in the market. Generally, the LG Optimus Black can be considered as one of the slimmest smartphones in the market, as it only measures a mere 9.2 mm at the thickest point of the phone. Also, the LG Optimus Black comes with a rather new display, which features a 700 nit NOVA display. However, the LG Optimus Black lags behind in terms of processing capability, as it is equipped with a single-core 1GHz processor, rather than a dual-core.
According to LG, the Optimus Black will be making its way in the European market this month. Also, LG disclosed that the LG Optimus Black will be launched in North America and Asia soon after its European debut. Apparently, consumers will be spoilt with two rather daring colors for the phone, namely the white and pink versions.
