We’ve heard a significant amount of news depicting the wonders of the OLED display technology, whereby OLEDs can outshine conventional LEDs, and it also has extended durability too, whereby one can bend the OLED panels without damaging or breaking it apart. Sure enough, when LG announced their plans to build OLED TVs sometime ago, I’m pretty sure the end results would be spectacular, as clearly, the underlying technology that would be used in these panels would push the limits of televisions to a new height.
And just recently, LG has showcased the world’s first 55-inch OLED TV panel that looks supremely elegant. Running on LG’s 4-color Pixel and Color Refiner technology, the OLED TV can deliver accurate and consistent colors that beat other OLED TVs in the market. Also, the 55-inch OLED TV measures a mere 4mm thick, and it also weights in at a mere 7.5KG. How I wish that I can be a proud owner of one of these spectacular OLED TVs, look below:

I know how it feels to be in a situation where my cash reserves were running dangerously low and I have a ton of bills waiting to be cleared at the end of the month. And to make the situation even worse, my employer has the tendency to pay my monthly salary late, which places me in a conundrum when financing my monthly obligations. Just the other day, I wanted to borrow some cash from a buddy of mine, as I was running late in paying my monthly bills, and he immediately recommended that I should extend my credit through cash advance loans. According to him, cash advance loans are short term loans, and these loans are specifically designed to help borrowers to extend their credit quickly. Apparently, the loan requirements to secure the cash advance loans are extremely low, and once the loan is approved by the respective lender, the cash would be credited into the borrower’s account, usually within 24 hours. Personally, I find such loans to be a blessing in disguise, as clearly, I can easily and speedily secure a small amount of cash that can be used to finance my monthly obligations, while waiting for my employer to credit my paycheck. And once I received my salary, I can repay the cash advance immediately in full, without incurring penalties. |

Now, I’m guessing that most of us know that Kia is a global automobile manufacturer, in which the South Korean car maker exports cars to most continents in the world. And based on my personal experience with Kia, I can testify that their cars lack ‘quality’ in exchange for value for your money – that’s what you get for buying a cheap car! Surely, since electric vehicles have gained a strong foothold over the recent years, it seems that Kia is dead serious in getting into the EV game, simply by unveiling their Ray EV as their first mass produced electric vehicle.
Basically, the Kia Ray EV has a range of 86 miles and runs on the 16.4 kWh lithium-ion pack. It’ll take 6 hours to fully recharge the battery pack using a 220 volts charger, or alternatively, consumers can opt for a fast track charger that fully charges the battery in 25 minutes flat – at an undisclosed voltage. The Ray EV also clocks in at 15.9 seconds for 0-62MPH, which is pretty sluggish for its standards.

NFC payment options are gaining widespread acceptance, in which the payment option mode is starting to gain momentum in the North American region. Sure enough, Intel has been eyeing for a piece of the NFC pie for quite some time now, and they have further solidified their intention recently, by entering into a licensing deal with Inside Secure for the use of their NFC tech.
Apparently, Intel showed off their Medfield-powered tablet at IDF earlier, in which the tablet is equipped with the NFC module, which grants the tablet the ability to process payments via MasterCard. Intel wants to incorporate the NFC tech in their future Ultrabooks, which enables these notebooks PayPass checkouts in the future. Well, it’s safe to say that future Ultrabooks by Intel would definitely uncannily include the NFC module onboard.

The price of precious metals, such as silver and gold, has skyrocketed tremendously over the past decade, as market uncertainties have propelled the price to a new height. Generally, it is a safe bet to invest into precious metals, as the demands for these metals have never dwindled in our lifetime, which justifies the gradual price increase every year. Based on my knowledge, there are several precious metals that are worth investing, namely gold, silver, platinum, and also palladium. On the other hand, precious metals are also available in various forms. For instance, silver is available in the form of silver bullion and silver coins. Also, the price of silver is significantly lower than the price of gold, platinum, or palladium, making silver one of the best investment options if you have limited funds. Surely, if you are interested in diversifying your investment portfolio, I would definitely recommend you to invest some of your funds into precious metals. Also, before you commit yourself into buying these precious metals, make sure you purchase these precious metals from a reputable dealer, and always ask for the necessary documentations, so that you can easily resell the metal, if you decide to liquefy your assets in the future. Have fun investing! |

If you have participated in some form of 3D games which require you to wear a headgear that consists of miniature displays, you should know that these miniature displays are mostly solid display units that one cannot see through. Surely, Lumus sets to revolutionize such video headgears, with their introduction of the 720p video glasses.
Basically, the video glasses utilize a see-through virtual screen, and when worn, the viewer will be able to view a gigantic 87-inch virtual screen that is virtually 10-feet away. The lens-projected view screens are surreal, and can be considered as somewhat superior when compared to conventional miniature displays. Also, onlookers will not be able to see what the viewer is looking at, but rather, they will only see a pair of off spectacles. Well the Lumus video glasses can only run 720p videos at the moment, and it will be featured at CES next month.
